Not necessarily. I find the energy theory very interesting and logical. I’m not sure how they would be constructed if made of atoms. But it is possible.

The biggest problem with the residual energy theory is that it should also be caused by living beings.
There’s also a problem with the way a lot of ghost hunters work. They’ll look for temperature, electrical or magnetic variations in a place but these can occur naturally. Most rooms are not just one temperature but can vary significantly throughout the room depending upon how the air currents flow and what heat, cold and air sources are about.
